The Path Already Taken

Often, the choice of two paths is already behind us. Whether the path is less or more traveled is of less consequence than that the path has remained the same. No other paths are visible.

We trod one foot in front of the other with an inexorable forward motion.

For habitual motion is but moving inertia.

In life, the junctures where two paths clearly diverge are rare.

Often, the only way off the comfortable and familiar path is to venture into the wilderness.
